it would pit those like me who wonder if this is the month that they get evicted, or like me have gone to bed so hungry that they have a problem going to sleep, against a group that will be perceived as being rewarded for their appearance rather than their character or even their present needs.

So you’re against something that’s the right thing to do just because some don’t understand that it’s the right thing to do?

How about instead being for the education of those who remain ignorant on why it’s the right thing to do?
