Tech companies to Senate Finance Committee chair Wyden: no Fast Track for TPP!

We’re boned

Maybe, but if enough pressure is put on Google, Facebook, Wikipedia, Microsoft, Apple, etc., there’s still a chance they’ll come around. The public can’t expect activism to be spoonfed to us and if we want progress instead of just complaining, we’re going to have to participate.

I’m going to at least try to contact these entities and let them know that if they don’t get on board, they’ll be on the wrong side of history and that won’t be forgotten.

We should also get some of the media to start asking these tech companies when they plan to get on board the real fight against the TPP. Obviously, alternative news sources are more open to stepping up, but it can’t hurt to also approach mainstream media outlets in hopes some journalists will buck the corporate media blackout and slip some stuff past their corporate owners.
