That’s mostly true but I’m still pretty peeved about how long they put up with Senator Bob Menendez. He was indicted for massive corruption and acting as a freakin’ foreign agent in September and October of last year, yet his Senate colleagues saw fit not to expel him, and even let him continue to receive classified briefings on the foreign relations committee throughout the duration of the trial. My own two Senators never even made any statements suggesting that he step down either before or after his conviction, let alone take steps to expel him. So I guess what I’m saying is that there’s still a lot of room for improvement.
