Well, maybe it’s just me but the part I find funny (if indeed I find any of this funny) is how willing serious politicians have been to stoop to Trump’s level. No, wait, the other thing. 
I’m still angry that the republicans are running the third joke presidential primary in a row.
Consider the likelihood of either event happening. 1) Trump dragging someone’s name through the mud with—at best—half true claims as he has done dozens if not hundreds of times before. 2) Trump standing still while Cruz backs his car in the general direction of Trump.
Had not heard of that but a brief googling seems to confirm. And, yes, that’s terrible. But exactly why are you letting Trump off the hook for asking his supporters to beat up protestors? How is the behavior of either Trump or Cruz explained by “7 yrs of liberalism” and not the republican party’s race to the bottom … combined with the individual responsibilities of both Trump and Cruz?
