The resource-rich, superior and mighty USA was kicked out of 'Nam by a bunch of Charlies with Chinese AK47 clones and sandals made from old tires. Monetary superiority does not necessarily mean much. A stronger adversary can be countered if the principles of asymmetric warfare are leveraged.
