The GOP is pretty much responsible for the current state of affairs. How can they be remotely surprised that they spent years using racial dog whistles and demonizing their political opponents, and then they get candidates like this?
If you look at the thread to Bill Bollingâs tweet, youâll find a reply that describes how Bolling himself, as Lt. Governor, said that people who voted for Barack Obama should âcheck themselves into a mental hospital.â So clearly, he is part of the problem, even if he has some regrets now.
