I know this is a really unpopular opinion - well, two of them actually - but… Keanu reeves has just, to me, never really been that convincing of an actor. His emotional range is just sorta… flat, i guess.
The 2nd unpopular opinion is that the John Wick movies just feel so far off base of unbelievability… Like, the first was ok. But the 2nd and the ways and wheres and whys of people shooting each other just was so… well it was very hard to suspend my disbelief.
