It requires a Meta account, which is separate from the Facebook account. They do not need to be linked. How much linking it does in the back end, and how much tracking it enables for people that don’t have a Facebook account 
Personally, I’m not giving Zuckerberg any money, so even if it was handled completely separately, it doesn’t change the fact I’m not even considering an Oculus…
