I was in a small town the the rural area of my state recently, and the local cinema was playing American Sniper and Top Gun. I wanted to believe it was some kind of ironic festival of American weapon porn, but it looks like that is just what was playing in the only cinema in town.
I’m sure I’m my own caricature with my city job and my city car and my yippy little city dog touring the countryside.
Oh, well, at least they’ll have something new to play.
