This charming 101-year-old lobsterwoman has no plans to stop

I’ve seen so many cases of this.

Dad was an engineer before he retired. He’s got lots of hobbies, and is a pretty social guy. Worked with lots of A-type upper management for whom the aerospace life was the only thing they did. Never took vacations (except when the family demanded it), and lived at work as much as possible. Those guys retired, or some were golden parachuted when one business bought another, and one by one have died off in very short times after they retired. Those guys had no reason to live, and nature took care of things.

Work life balance folks, it’s important.

Similarly, my great grandparents were 104 and 105 when they died. We always semi-joked that they were in a contest to see who would live longer. One died, then the other followed about a week later. They were living as a pair, and when one 1/2 was gone, soon followed the other.
