We used to live a stonesthrow from the Bronx zoo. We got a yearly pass and used to do our afternoon constitutionals in the zoo. It’s quite liberating to be able to let go of making the most of a single trip admission and just do one or two things and then bounce.

Wait, you mean afternoon constitutional as in “afternoon constitutional”?
We live pretty close to the San Diego Zoo. I also like that we can just pop in with a pass and leave. Also, the evening zoo hours in the summer make it nice. We can show up around 5 when there is a stream of worn out families going the other direction.
