I’ll never give up my Fluke 77, but I recently needed a DC clamp ammeter for cheap and bought this same brand. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by build quality and accuracy.
I just picked one of these up using the discount code for $5.97 and can confirm that the build quality is much better than the free ones from HF. I was actually kind of surprised it was as good as it was even at the regular price. It has just the basics: AC/DC voltage, DC amps, resistance, and continuity.
FWIW, the one I just received came with removable insulating sleeves for the probes that left just the tips exposed.
