Hey, you almost make it sound like they’re doing a good thing by consuming this ridiculously expensive espresso. 
I don’t subscribe to the the assumption that the money “ends up in the hands of less-rich-than-them” (a.k.a. it “trickles down”). That would entirely depend on who reaps the benefits of said coffee shop. I would expect that is some rich dude. It’s definitely not the staff.
Plus it is definitely a choice that they are not inclined to give it a way, so nobody is forcing their hand.
Anyways, I hope that espresso place soon reopens with a different concept and a different name. My suggestion: Eat the rich!
