Tiny LCD display hooks up to a keyboard and shows only one thing: four lines of text

Agree with the e-ink absolutists, but also would prefer an SD slot to store, rather than relying on wifi. I have an old Dana Alpha and it stores to SD. And, actually, I have a typewriter collection too. I occasionally write on my Olympia Splendid 66.

I’ve gone a bit further with this concept. I use a keyboard with no display at all. None of the characters typed are stored anywhere, and it uses no batteries!

A sentence? Why my first institution name (Saskatchewan summat summat Heart and Mining Indolence Rhythm summat Your Mom Foundation CAN) alone will take 7 lines, thanks. I’mma stick with the 5 portrait oriented 8k 42" oled screens, thanks.

one of my favorite authors.

I don’t know if he composes these lines at the “typewriter,” but surely brilliant perfection comes from being able to see the whole sentence.
