I posted yesterday about how I like this recurring feature. Still true! I think part of the reason is sort of meta: I find it interesting to see how clickbait headlines reliably leave out info, and turn the mundane into the sensational. With enough examples, I suspect I’ll be better able to see some bullshit headline and immediately think of several ways the article will almost certainly not live up to the promise of the hed. And hopefully that will inoculate me against clicking.
