I haven’t eaten in 2.5 days, but this thread really makes me want a hot dog. (Stomach bug plus nausea is a literal pain in the rear)

I’m bi-relish but lean toward dill.

Bob’s Big Boy has a red relish that I looooove. I thought they used to sell it. I guess not anymore.

Dill relish is the only relish worth eating.

Up here, there are tree types: “Dill” relish, 'sweet" relish, and “bread & butter” relish, which is… I dunno, super-sweet relish?

Dill relish is actually surprisingly difficult to find in stores - I used to just chop up dill pickles but of course a relish is more than pickles. The best option I’ve found is Bick’s Tangy Dill

Yes, what’s up with that? My wife kept buying sweet relish and I wanted to make a tuna fish sandwich with dill relish. I went to the store and then understood why she kept buying sweet. There was only one or two high priced specialty brands in little bottles next to many variations of sweet relish in giant bottles. As a kid I swear both were equally represented. I’m not sure when the scales tipped so far towards the sweet.

I brought chips to go with the relish!

Me either. But that’s a fight we should have won.
