I work on a college campus where there’s been a big informational campaign that’s included, among other things, posters that say “Sex without consent is sexual assault.”
On the one hand I like the phrasing. It’s clear, direct, and seems to be aimed directly at perpetrators.
On the other hand I think This is something college kids should already know.
Maybe I’m just impatient, though, and maybe within a generation it will be fully ingrained.
