I’ve experimented with *racetams, choline, and other nootropics. Just buy the powders and add them to juice. Picamillon is quite effective, but I would stay away from phenibut in any form.

What is going on with BoingBoing.net?
Did you get hacked?
Did you sell the site and the new owner is desperately trying to make a quick buck oblivious to the fact that he is ruining the reputation?
Did somebody pull a prank?
-
First you ditch the design you had for years and years and replace it with a much more scattered layout where posts are no longer in chronological order.
-
Then you just let the ensuing discussion with lots of people complaining scroll off without telling people that the old page is available on boingboing.net/page/1
-
A few months later you establish an e-shop and start hawking various very questionable products, such as:
- “lifetime subscriptions” to various cloud products that can’t possibly last a lifetime, unless the buyer is in his/her late 90s?
- stuff with a 95% discount
- various bundles
- repeated stuff like that titanium key holder …
-
Again a month or so later you quietly discontinue the secret backdoor to the good old layout at boingboing.net/page/1 . I know, there is http://boingboing.net/blog, but that is not the same thing. For example you can’t see the number of comments and the blurbs are much longer
-
at the same time you start including links to other - sometimes quite old - articles under individual articles
-
now you are selling this … stuff
Please notice that due to the nature of this site there is high concentration of makers, hackers, skeptics and open-minded people, that do appreciate, for example a nice article A barista takes a close look at “Bulletproof Coffee”
I apologize for something posted to BB from our Stack Social store that should not have been. The post has been taken down.
I think the exact page you might want is boingboing.net/category/post . The old /page/1 depended on a certain pagination plugin that stopped using for performance reasons.
http://boingboing.net/blog/ is intended to be the BB for old blognards – it’s a full (or at least fuller) content-feed because that’s explicitly what most longtime readers prefer.
Also, it wasn’t a ‘secret backdoor’! It was linked to from a 28px allcaps BLOG option in the nav. It’s now in the “menu”, but still there. (Here’s a secret backdoor)
The comment counts stopped working a few days ago and I’m unsure why. The counts are fetched from Discourse but are returning null. I’ll review the code soon.
Thanks.

[/quote]I stand corrected.
Thank you for a fast response.
… and for a real secret backdoor … OOOPS it isn’t secret anymore now that you listed it in public discussion, is it?
Ah, crap.
Guess I’ll have to buy it from TheNextWeb instead now.
Maybe their coders should be using the product, so their prices wouldn’t have divide by zero bugs.
(But nootropics can be useful–piracetam and l-theanine are like a nice cup of coffee without jitters)
#BOOYAH!!!
#SHMOOCKPHT!!!
wow, i thought i was the only one with that choline reaction. i tried it back in the 90s when information was a bit more sparse and, after i got over it, never thought about it again.
It’s a floor wax, AND a dessert topping!
The plus side about sourcing the generics from China is that they sometimes “accidentally” contaminate the batch with more effective, but less legal, adjuncts. Just make sure to have the inside scoop, or test them yourself.
…and we’re back at the cheapo analytical rigs, the $100-a-lab-in-a-briefcase whatever I am trying to envision…
I’ve always wanted us to market life-extension pills with 1950s-style comic book branding, called “Kurzies”
Sugar coated ‘Singularities!’ to start the day.
I can’t believe I ate the whole thing!
I was flat, until I went fluffy.
