This was what I thought as well. Trump was probably taken in by propaganda intended to help Trump.
Extorting another country to try to get a political opponent’s family prosecuted for crimes is not just words, it’s trying (and as of yet failing) to take political prisoners.

Yeah, you do have a good point there indeed. People did commit actions on his behalf with Watergate though. Maybe it will be the same with Trump/Biden/Ukraine. Who knows? I wouldn’t be targeting Trump is all. It’s the wrong moment and wrong approach to what he represents.
Maybe the impeachment will unearth real crime. Wouldn’t the Senate still have to be onboard to impeach though?
I’m confused by your differentiation between Centrists and “libtards” (I don’t like that word much to be honest, Liberals are fine folks). Liberals are Centrists, why would they call themselves that word? Confoozed.

My grandmother was a communist (scottish), Bernie Sanders is a Socialist-Liberal. Warren more Liberal but overlaps a lot with Sanders. Clintons & Obama are Liberal Conservatives. Bush (all of them) and Trump are Conservative Fascists.
Never heard a Clinton call Liberals a “libtard” (again, don’t like that word much).
Surely Trump is most afraid of whichever Democrat is leading in the polls from one moment to the next

The “Centrist” here refers to not actual centrists, but to the category of people (mostly pundits) in US politics who are poisoned by the Golden Mean fallacy and Both Sides!-ism, where they pretend that the correct position on everything is between the Dem and GOP positions, and that the Republican party and the Democratic party must be morally and intellectually equal, instead of admitting that the right side has descended into abject lunacy.
