I’m guessing it was a normal conversation, where TFG listed a bunch of government gigs, and the price tag of each. Veep is on the table, but that would be after he seized power. He’d promise to have Vance deposed/imprisoned/killed, and sort things out with the Court to handwave away the natural born citizen thing. Though if Trump does gets in, neither will keep their promises.
