I created a burner email so I could answer one of Trump’s bogus online polls. Since then I’ve logged in every few months out of curiosity and find there are at least three individual campaign emails per day, sometimes as many as six, all asking for money, hawking merch, or offering a bait-and-switch (“Enter to Meet JD Vance!”) that leads to a donation page. I’ve seen at least three different hats other than the standard red one, plus new flags, commemorative coins, coffee mugs, “autographed” photos, etc.
I haven’t seen this new “recursive” hat, but I will not be surprised if it’s real and not a gag The Onion came up with.
