Comer was “cooperative” and admitted to shooting the two geese, according to the court filings. Comer told an officer with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources he believed he was entitled to shoot them because the golf course had a “nuisance permit.” An officer then issued him a citation.
I didn’t know about this nuisance permit. Though I have heard of Wildlife Depts culling flocks. But at any rate, assuming the golf course had a permit, HE didn’t have a permit. It’s like saying you can drive because your brother has a license.
Not at all surprised at this. There are way more white suburbanites shooting or clubbing geese that shit on their driveways and dumping the bodies than anyone else killing geese. (Besides hunters, of course),
