Back when I was an engineer, I worked for a company that makes HVAC equipment, largely for high rise hotels. Occasionally, as part of my job, I got sent out to job sites to troubleshoot problems. One of the last job sites I went to before I left that job in August, 2008, was the Trump Tower in Chicago. So I was in that building before it opened. I didnât deal with anything related to this problem, but it was pretty obvious some corners were being cut.
