I don’t read the tweets on Twitter. I get them served up in places like this!
Seriously, I have stopped reading Twitter, stopped looking at the comment feed in my ‘newspaper’ (which used to come in a paper form, on my doorstep, 7 days a weeks, and is now delivered on my iPad), and stopped using the Facebook news feed. The husband is political & we’ve had to negotiate how often and on what subjects he can share his updated informed outrage with me.
I don’t need to dig for things to read that will put me in a negative place. Just existing in these interesting times can do that. I look for things that are positive, or constructive, or at least humorous. Or humourous.
