“We need more Justices”
It’s possible Trump doesn’t know that, because it’s not like he was involved in the process at all. To be fair though, he doesn’t need to, because everyone else is acutely aware of it, and conservatives are pissed at him. Which is what makes Trump so hilarious. Trump these days is just constantly: “These people I appoint are the absolute worst. It’s important to vote for me in 2020 so I can appoint more people.” He definitely only hires the best people… except for all the people he hired, who were losers, idiots, crazy, etc. I don’t think this is the argument for his re-election he’s hoping it is.
