Oh on top of that my Aunt’s state ID had expired, and thanks to North Carolina’s voter supression fuckery they had to drive 2 hours and spend an entire day trying to get it replaced. In the end they were told she didn’t have enough proof of ID and needed to come back with a birth certificate and 3 bills with her address. So they did it again. At which point she was told she didn’t need any of that and the expired ID was all she needed to renew.
So they’re very pleased with Republicans right now.
