Besides, the primary role of the state under corporatism is further enrichment who don’t need (or deserve) it at the expense of the nation. Given that role of the state, the outcome here is practically socialism. (Actually, all sarcasm aside, the standard response to claims that everything that benefits the masses — like ending Pentagon waste, affordable healthcare and living wages — is to say we have socialism already, but it’s misdirected.)
