If I remember correctly from this https://www.dhs.gov/news/2016/03/01/written-testimony-tsa-administrator-peter-neffenger-senate-appropriations the director of TSA was saying that they were focusing back on “security” than efficiency which would mean longer wait times. I guess he followed through with that promise.
