He didn’t pull the weapon. There is a substantial difference between carrying a holstered weapon, and USING it. The officer only ever pulled and employed the NON-LETHAL weapon. And thus, it IS a very different story, than if he played it like all too many cops these days do, and started shooting up things. You may recall the man-hunt in LA last summer, where LAPD cops shot up a BLUE pickup truck, when they were trying to find a BLACK pickup. And while I’m not sure of this, I seem to recall it was a different make and model than the one they were seeking as well. . .
