I tried an Ipega 9023 bluetooth controller with a couple touch devices.
I wasn’t able to use the controller with any of the touch devices because (a) other accessibility problems such as too-bright screens, (b) the controller assumed that users would be able to use both hands to select the mode when connecting, © the controller assumed that users would be able to use touch to handle the other side of things when connecting, and (d) the controller disabled the on-screen keyboard. I doubt many astronauts would have proprioceptive issues, but touchscreens are a pain in 1g and probably worse in 0g.
It didn’t help that all of the touch devices advertised accessibility features, like being able to disable zooming or disable gestures, that they didn’t have.
I suppose it might be possible to use usb-connected controllers with some touch devices.
