United canceled man's ticket because he recorded agent on video

Nope, and I thank dog my employer has switched to preferentially using AirNZ.

Several years ago - in fact, the last time I was on Jetstar - I noticed a couple of odd things:

  1. there was a certain amount of … vandalism evident on the seats. It could have simply been that the plane was old and tired, but I interpreted at least part of it as being due to pushback against generally shitty service: treat customers poorly, and they will respond in kind.
  2. the cabin crew did NOT appear that they’d be competent in their primary role of assisting evacuation in the event of an emergency. I got the distinct impression that if anything bad happened we’d all be on our own, and prepared myself accordingly. Nothing did happen, of course(?), but it was a sobering insight.

Sounds like the aftermath of a bad inflight meal.

Still probably better than Mangonel Airlines.
