A moral person is required to steal to eat if there is no alternative, there is no morality in murdering yourself or allowing yourself to die for no reason. Leave the sick poetic angel morality to poets, angels, and fairy tales; that form of faux morality is almost always used to blame victims and honor their noble death.

Isn’t the challenge of how to use STEM to relieve risks and harms from affordable housing and mental health services shortages a compelling challenge?

I’ve met attorneys, teachers, nurses and even bankers (!) excited by the analogous question asked in the context of their own field?
