Wow, that escalated quickly. Maybe I won’t be able to have us converge on “Yeah I guess there were funnier aspects to the ad than the pronunciation but still it’s an objectively awkward ad” – “You’re right, I didn’t wanna seem like the concern police, but I thought English natives are more tolerant of foreign accent”.
But then again, I’m not that heavily invested in winning anything here. It’s a public holiday tomorrow, easy everyone.
