In a supreme plot twist, it was then revealed that everyone in those zoom meetings had been doing the same thing for the week. This reinforced the lingering suspicion held by everyone that nothing useful ever happened during a meeting, but that a sufficient quantity of computers could still perform the meeting dependably if so called upon.

Skynet became self-aware 3 weeks, two days, 11 hours, 8 minutes and 37 seconds later.

You’re right, I missed that. And I agree it’s a perfectly reasonable use of time from that perspective, however I came into the video expecting it to be a fully automated prank. My bad.

I don’t think I ever doubted it could be done, seems obvious you could do that and get away with it. Which is maybe why I misunderstood his intent.

I was actually very skeptical. Once he added pre-recorded responses and video switching, I was sure someone would catch the jump cuts between clips.
