I think most people would be willing to shoot a stranger to protect the lives of their children or grandchildren, in a clearly dangerous situation.
But this is a “gun safety” bill. It’s about protecting her and her family against the kinds of people who really shouldn’t have access to weapons.
Or is this a Freudian slip that she’s one of those people who probably shouldn’t own a gun?
