Was gonna say. Also wrote MUSIC I. I don’t think he developed the multiple iterations but he was there at the beginning. He moved on to live performance stuff (he played the fiddle iirc). I also think that he didn’t make the system that bicycle made for two was generated on just that song.

Kubrick of course was a genuine music aficionado so may well have been well aware of it. Like Miller Puckette did of course when he named Max as homage to Matthews.
