the biggest surprise to me from this clip was at the end, when Jerry Lewis gives a pitch about muscular dystrophy. as a Gen-Xer, i remember his annual, hours-long telethons for MS, but that was in the 70s. i had no idea he was so passionate about MS way back in the 1950s, when he was so young.
