Watch: workers in padded armor destroy "murder hornet" nest

Ugh, California yellow jackets. Every time I grilled in our back yard in San Jose, I had to fight them for the food. Another one landed on my chest and bit me for no reason as I was standing in a swimming pool near Thunder Hill. I’ve been told the Asian Giant Hornets aren’t as mean, but I’d never want to find out.

Odd that I didn’t even know they existed when I lived in Japan. I was too busy doing battle with the big Huntsman spiders you see in Florida (but not as big as the Australia variety).
