I think there is one way the president could be held liable for the pandemic response, and it revolves around the report that the task force deliberately chose not to act because the pandemic was expected to hit blue states hardest. If that can be proven, it means the administration deliberately chose to let Americans die when they had the ability to prevent it, and did so for their own gain.
That has to be criminally prosecutable.
Also, I really want a Benghazi-level investigation into the whole Russians offering bounties on American troops thing. If Trump knew about that, and still offered Putin “aid and comfort”, that’s literally treason, and I’m pretty sure we still hang people for it.
