DO NOT upgrade to firefox 57 though if you want to keep using it. Not yet anyway.

You can test for a month with a dozen experienced testers, but when you release to 300,000 users, you will find there are a lot of unexpected ways real people use your software.

However, if you’re waiting for user bug reports to tell you when your usability sucks, you’re doing it wrong. Usability labs FTW.

It’s not about usability testing, it’s about marketing strategy success. They want to know the user paths that are successful in causing purchases/conversions so those can be optimized to cause more purchases/conversions. Usability testing should be separate from analytics monitoring, as you describe.
