What Trump should find when researching the KKK is that it was a Democratic organization. In fact going back it was Democrats who fought against the Republican Lincoln to keep slavery. It was Democrats who wanted Jim Crow. It was Democrats who created the KKK. Each step of the way they were fought by Republicans like Martin Luther King Jr. Who saw the evil in racism. But many blacks have forgotten this and embraced the Democrats not because of their work to keep slavery, but because of the new Democratic idea of controlling blacks by making them dependant on the government for support and protection.
