Oh, and I rock a set of Sennheiser Momentum 2s on-the-ear (White with red pads, because I had to replace one and went red) from an Onkyo amp. If I go with speakers it drives 4x Bose 301s quite well - soon enough I will have rehabbed an ancient pair of 501s with the original green plaid speaker covers and sub them in for a pair of the 301s.
Never got interested in surround effects or any of that. Simple stereo does fine by me.
