Why smoke follows you around a fire

w) make sure you use dry wood. There will always be some smoke but wood that is damp will have a ridiculous amount and be unbearable.

When I worked in Northern Alberta, muskeg country, the smoke was often the preferred spot around the fire because it was mosquito free.
