Why the iPod Classic remains one of the best ways to listen to digital music

I think his point is that they ruined it by making it do more than one thing-- turning it into the Touch and iPhone, so now you can’t just listen to music, you will get interrupted by phone calls and/or texts, and find yourself surfing the web. That’s his opinion, but it’s valid.

I don’t even want to know what you have to say about a Swiss Army knife.

But it’s true. Any time I pull out my ipod Touch and do not use it for music, I feel a sense of lingering anxiety. And shame.
