William Powell, author of The Anarchist Cookbook, RIP

Plus what you can grow yourself! That doesn’t add much in cities or where you have no fixed location, but fresh herbs are wonderful and easy to grow.

The starting point to tomorrow’s dinner, only with fresh garlic, not powder, and not just a teaspoon:

We’d need to add some pointers for urban foraging as well as a brief guide to edible wild plants.

This should totally be a book.

Yes! Yes it should!

I have a book of wild edibles of the area in which I live, but they are all drawings. It would be more helpful to have photos. I’m still only 95% sure I know which one is purslane, but I do like lambs quarters in a salad.

Daaaaaaayyyyyyyuuuummmm…that looks good.

Dude, he’s been dead for almost a year! Why is this blowing up (no pun intended) on all the blogs in the last week?
It was stated here: https://www.facebook.com/NextFrontierInclusion/posts/10209878148531770

and in the closing credits here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6032170/

It was not a secret.

army surplus stores used to carry various army field manuals. in the early 80s a friend and i found a copy of a field manual on creating improvised munitions which gave detailed instructions on how to use household, farmyard, or otherwise readily available materials to create explosives, rockets, and firearms in case one was trapped behind the lines. it was fascinating and probably a lot more useful than the “anarchist cookbook.” i doubt that particular field manual is still available.

They may have tightened it up, but in ye olden days if you wanted to learn explosives you just called up the Agriculture Department and asked for advice on how to remove tree stumps.

They were quite fond of ANFO, on the basis that every farmer already has a good supply of diesel and fertiliser.

It’s available on Amazon now? Wow… In the late 90’s, it took me DAYS to find it on mIRC…

So… Joseph is living in a trailer park, his wife Maria has just given birth to a child he knows not to be his, when three middle eastern men knock at his door in the middle of the night, and demand to see wife and child, carrying explosives, drugs, and loads of money?
