Unfortunately, this is not going to help the cause of Saudi women fighting for control of their children. Saudi law overwhelmingly favors the rights fathers over mothers. Saudi woman are trying to get those laws changed. This incident, however isolated, will be used against them to show irresponsibility. Very unfortunate timing.
