IIRC, Send had a limit on the number of times a file could be downloaded (and the limit could be increased/removed if you signed up to an account). I’d have thought having a download limit would make it pretty impractical (or at least inefficient for spreading malware) but I may be wrong.

Anybody remember “sendfile”, which I believe used the SAFT protocol? From the 80s?
