Omg capitalism is horrible, and this ad is the proof!
Obviously the ad is supposed to be funny in how “serious” and expansive the narrative is, and at the end it’s just plain old Subway. All the cliches and tropes are there on purpose and well executed, and the so-serious artsy-fartsy things are in there exactly for maximum pretention.
