I bought some hay from a local farmer and he cryptically told me he also sells “hemp.” I assumed he meant non-psychoactive, so I said “Oh, what do you use that for?” and he - to his credit - was able to improvise a non-incriminating list of medicinal-sounding uses and completely avoided saying “to get high.” I felt like such a narc.
