There are a bunch of podcasts that have read the books, we thought it would be more interesting to have a podcast from the perspective of people who see the show before they read the books, which is the lens through which the majority of viewers watch the show. Many people who’ve read the book listen to us essentially to feel superior. Also, you don’t have to worry about spoilers which is always an issue with podcasts hosted by people who’ve read the book.
After a given season is over, we read the books that relate to the previous season. Maybe that’s a type of Hipster Twaddle that’s more your speed. Thanks for listening!
